A Collaborative Effort for Lasting Impact

Co-organised with the CYCLOPES project, this workshop is the final training event for 2PS

It aims to bridge project outcomes with broader European networks, professional communities, and institutional frameworks dedicated to prevention, psychological resilience, and professional well-being. Our goal is to address both grassroots and top-down challenges, ensuring a lasting impact for practitioners and organisations alike.

The workshop, held concurrently with the EUSPR Conference in Berlin, will feature interactive panel discussions, breakout sessions, and training demonstrations. A closing roundtable will define next steps and potential future collaborations.

Key Objectives: Showcasing Innovation and Fostering Resilience

This strategically designed workshop will achieve several key objectives:

  1. Showcase the innovative training models and resources developed under the 2PS Project.
  2. Promote sustainable, trauma-informed training frameworks.
  3. Connect expertise from diverse fields working with distressing content, including CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material), counter-terrorism materials, and cases of extreme neglect and paraphilias.
  4. Foster alignment between policy and leadership (top-down structures) and practitioner resilience and lived experience (bottom-up needs).

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is designed for a wide range of professionals, including:

  • Law enforcement (investigators, digital forensics, safeguarding officers)
  • Clinical and forensic psychologists
  • Social and youth workers
  • Trainers, educators, and curriculum developers
  • Organisational leaders, HR teams, and policymakers
  • Researchers and evaluation professionals
  • EU-funded project leads and knowledge-exchange partners

Pre-Event: 2PS Dissemination Session

An important hybrid event showcasing the key outputs and outcomes of the 2PS Project will take place prior to the training workshop. This session, on the afternoon of 24 September 2025, is open to both in-person participants in Berlin and remote attendees across Europe.
